IOCOM Participates in 3rd Annual NEC Display Solutions Summit
Demonstrates real-time, multi-site, multi-display collaboration software
August 26, 2008 // Itasca, IL – IOCOM joined 20-plus NEC Display Solutions Partners to demonstrate its multipoint, multi-display visual collaboration software at the Westin Hotel in Itasca, IL. IOCOM had a laptop and handheld solution on display but also conferenced with colleagues in a “telepresence room” in downtown Chicago. IOCOM’s telepresence room is comprised of 4 PTZ cameras and 3, 65 inch plasma displays for a lifelike distributed meeting experience. The IOCOM team did live demonstrations of multi-site visual collaboration by connecting to the wireless Internet network provided by the hotel. Visitors to the IOCOM booth were briefed on the essentials of using multiple, large displays in your typical corporate conference rooms to enhance both local and distributed meetings.
