Rick Stevens
Associate Lab Director, Argonne National Lab
Professor Stevens is the long time Head, Computing and Communications Futures Laboratory at Argonne National Laboratory, as well as the Leader of the Petascale Computing and Theory Initiative. Stevens has recently completed appointments as Associate Laboratory Directors for both Physical, Biological and Computing Sciences and Computing and Life Sciences.
Prof. Stevens is also a Committee Member of the Open Source Software for HPC PITAC Subcommittee, and a member of the University of Chicago's Computer Science Department and Division Director of its Mathematics and Computer Science Division.
Professor Stevens advises IOCOM on overall software development and architecture as well as the latest trends and needs in the research community.
