Sherri Gilligan
Senior VP of Marketing & Advertising, MGM Mirage
Sherri joined the MGM MIRAGE team in late 2007 as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Advertising. In her role, she works closely with all the property marketing teams to fully leverage MGM MIRAGE’s unparalleled brand assets and drive greater customer loyalty and spending at all venues. Sherri oversees the areas of Marketing Analytics & Loyalty, Internet Marketing, Advertising, Media & Promotions, Productions Services & Electronic Design, Graphic Arts and Events.
Prior to MGM MIRAGE, Sherri worked at Sprint Nextel Corporation in Overland Park, Kansas, where she most recently served as Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Operations. In this role, Sherri was instrumental in driving the overall marketing strategy, research, analytics and operations for the corporation. During her more than 18 years of experience with Sprint Nextel, Sherri held several key management positions, including Vice President of Local and Channel Marketing, Vice President of Finance, Area Vice President of Sales for the Western Region, Vice President of Sales and Distribution Operations, as well as various director and manager-level positions. Before joining Sprint Nextel, Sherri worked for General Electric in Cleveland, Ohio where she also held several management positions.
Sherri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
