Great Western Research Extends IOCOM Support Contract

April 10, 2008 // Exeter, United Kingdom ‐ Great Western Research, a research consortium promoting collaboration in the southwestern United Kingdom, has agreed to a support contract extension for all of the IOCOM room collaboration systems and mobile-room nodes currently deployed between their members. The contract covers all IOCOM related endpoints through their fourth year of use by the group, ensuring successful collaboration for years to come.

Great Western Research was founded to promote collaborations between the highest quality research groups in the southwestern United Kingdom, as well as regional businesses, working toward the development and growth of the region on an international scale. The group provides research fellowships and studentships to top scholars as an effective way to form partnerships between the research institutions and regional industry. So far, the group has approved funding for 130 PhD studentships.
