Morehouse is home to The King Collection, a 10,000-piece collection of King's works and personal writings.
IOCOM's conferencing technology will be used to connect locations all over the world, including Morehouse College in Atlanta; Beijing, China; Johannesburg, South Africa; India and the University of Florida. The Digital Worlds Institute has partnered with IOCOM numerous times to present groundbreaking, global events celebrating arts, music, and culture.
"I think this is an innovative and distinctive strategy that has brought together the entire community at Morehouse," said Walter E. Fluker, executive director of the Leadership Center and interim director of The King Collection. "We cannot ignore the last prophetic ascendance of Martin Luther King Jr. when he told us we inherited a larger house – a world house – where we can't live apart."
